Jana's favourite hike: Cima Crodarotta

Last year, I determined I was going to get to the top of Cima Crodarotta, even though it's 2,809 metres high. It's a pleasant climb: first you go through a larch forest, and then you walk across some flat rocks. The view is splendid: Madonna di Senales and Vernago get smaller and smaller as you go up, and the view of the lake from above is really evocative. The cross on top of the peak glitters in the sunlight. I like to look at it from my bedroom every day.
